7日目 Day 7

今日で既にホンジュラスに来てもう７日目になりました。

私が居る町はラウニオンというグアテマラとの国境よりにある町です。

人口は約５千人ほどの小さい町です。

現在はホストファミリーと一緒に暮らしています。

東京ともDCとも全く違う生活リズムを楽しんでいます。

町の人たちは都会の人と違い他人にも笑顔で挨拶してくれます。

スペイン語はなんとなく進展してるような気がします。。。

It's been 7 days since I've arrived at Honduras. 

I've been living in La Unión, which is closer to the Guatelaman border. 

The total population is only about 5,000 people. It's a small town.

I'm currently living with a honduran host family. 

I really enjoy the rhythm of life that is completely different from those of Tokyo or DC. 

Towners greet with smile to strangers.

My spanish is slowly progressing.......

当ブログはホンジュラスにおける私の１０週間にわたる経験を家族、友達及びその他の方々に伝える為に作成しました。

現地でのインターネット接続状況もあり、どのくらい頻繁に投稿出来るか分かりませんが、まあ試してみたいと思います。

This blog is to communicate my 10-week experience as an intern at a microfinance institution in Honduras, to my family, friends, as well as a larger audience.

Given the instability of the internet connection, I'm not sure how patient I can be to actually post something too frequently, but we shall see....
